Our Mission & Approach
The first YWAM missions team visited Baguio City in 1971. A year later, the Baguio base was founded. Since Baguio is a university town, the base’s original emphasis was on reaching university students.Â
Over the years, YWAM Baguio has pioneered a number of bases, ministries, and operating locations throughout the Philippines and Southeast Asia. That pioneering spirit thrives as we have begun pioneering Bible courses with the intent of multiplying the courses throughout Asia.Â
We abide by Youth With A Mission’s Foundaton Values (as listed in this link), with special emphasis “To Know God and To Make Him Known”, per YWAM’s motto.
YWAM Baguio’s vision is to “Bring God’s Word” and to “Engage Hearts”. We endeavor to do this by means of community service, Bible workshops, seminars, and courses, and by discipling those from all the spheres of society so that we can have a positive impact in multiplying God’s kingdom locally, nationally, and globally.
